New York City is brimming with special concerts, festivals, and other holiday-themed fun this time of year, so we’ve compiled a roundup to help you plan your trip to New York City.
November 9 - December 30
Celebrate 75 years of the Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular this year! The New York Times says “the grand old show has been made over, from terpsichore to technology, kicking and singing into the 21st century while retaining and refining the glories of the 20th.”
November 23 - December 30
The New York City Ballet presents George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker in all its stunning glory. Enjoy impressive special effects, complete with an on-stage snowstorm, as it whirls around the nimble dancers telling the classic tale.
December 8 (7:30 pm)
Ring in the season at the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine with the Cathedral Choristers and special guest artists Three Mo’ Tenors as they treat you to a performance of carols and seasonal music.
December 14 & 15
The New York Pops present “A Holiday Celebration” featuring Doc Severinsen on trumpet, soprano Nicole Cabell, and the Fort Worth TCU Symphonic Choir all at grand Carnegie Hall.
December 19 - 22
Join the New York Philharmonic for a presentation of the classic favorite Handel’s Messiah.
