Kick off the New Year with the Three Kings Day Parade! Celebrating the arrival of the Magi, this colorful celebration includes floats, giant puppets, and camels, along with music and delicious food.

Friday, January 4 (7 pm)
Join Book Award Nominee Jim Shepard as he reads from his new book Like You’d Understand, Anyway. This free event will be held at Pianos, an actual former Piano factory!

Through January 6
Be sure to catch the final performances of The New Shanghai Circus this weekend. You’ll be amazed at the skill of these talented acrobats, contortionists, and jugglers put together in a show of dazzling music and color.

It’s also the final weekend of “Tapestry in the Baroque: Threads of Splendor” at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Forty magnificent tapestries from more than fifteen European countries are presented in this sequel to the 2002 exhibit “Tapestry in the Renaissance: Art and Magnificence.”
