About Stacy B
When she is not in the office or at school, Stacy spends her time with friends, watching movies and football, having sing-a-longs, and playing board games and Mario Cart (she is the reigning household champion). Whenever there is a great rock band in town, she always tries to make an appearance, never missing a beat to her favorite songs. Stacy is also an avid skier and hopes to one day ski out West in areas such as Colorado, Utah and British Columbia.

Park Plaza Hotel Photo uploaded by
Staying at a New York City hotel can be very expensive, especially if you decide to stay at the new Park Plaza Hotel, according to an written in Budget Travel. After the hotel reopens on March 1, one night in the renovated hotel will cost you a whopping $1000 per night!
While this may seem unusual, the transformation of the hotel itself is even more extraordinary. The Plaza Hotel will now be a “condo-hotel” hybrid. This plan includes 282 rentable rooms, 152 of which will be owned part-time. The part-time owners will have access to their condos for 120 days each year, but the condos are used as hotel rooms on the remaining days.
Though this is a new concept, you might still be wondering why someone would pay $1000 for a one-night stay. Boasting 24-karat gold faucets and butlers stationed on every floor, the Park Plaza Hotel uses the rich upgrades and the overall experience as incentives for visitors to splurge on their NYC accommodations.
If you are willing and able to pay for a room at the Park Plaza Hotel, splurge on your stay and receive royal treatment. Otherwise, stop in for a drink at the hotel’s Oak Bar and explore the new building!
