 Redeem your New York City Explorer Pass at the CitySights NY Visitor Center in Times Square for ferry ticket to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Immigration Museum. This ticket allows you to skip the ticket line in Battery Park before you board the ferry!
No trip to New York is complete without a visit to our nation’s landmarks of freedom. Ranger-guided tours of Liberty Island are offered free of charge at regularly scheduled times throughout the day.
Note: Complimentary Admission to the Monument Pedestal is by Time Pass Ticketing only. Time Pass Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis. A limited number of Monument passes are available each day at the ticket booth at Battery Park.
You must have your ferry ticket in hand(pick up at City Sights Ticket
Desk – Times Square, see Address below) to request a Monument Pass. Admission to the Ellis Island Immigration Museum is complimentary and you do not need an additional ticket for admission.
Even without a Time Pass Ticket, visitors can participate in ranger-led walking tours of the island, view interpretive waysides, listen to an audio tour (fee), eat at the restaurant and browse through the gift shop.

of Liberty/Ellis Island ferries operate. The Statue of Liberty/Ellis
Island ferry does not operate on Christmas Day. Holidays subject to

have picked up your tickets): Take the 4 or 5 Express Train to Bowling
Green; N or R Local train to Whitehall Street;
1 or 9 Seventh Avenue local train to South Ferry. All trains are within
a short walk of the CitySights NY Ticket Office.
