What is an Explorer Pass?
A San Francisco Explorer Pass is a multi-attraction pass providing you your own
San Francisco sightseeing experience. You choose 5 or 3 attractions from the
included attraction list and entry is included. You get to create your own
experience, tailoring your activities based on what you like to do.
What’s the catch? How can you offer all this at such
an affordable price?
There is no catch! Because we bring a very large number of visitors to each of our attraction partners, we are able to get great pricing on each admission, allowing us to pass the savings on to you when using an Explorer Pass.  How does the San Francisco Explorer Pass work?
All you have to do is present your San Francisco Explorer Pass at a participating attraction and entry is included. The San Francisco Explorer Pass is valid for admission to 3 attractions or 5 attractions – you decide when you buy.
The pass is activated the first time you use it and you have 30 days to visit the 3 or 5 different attractions you have selected (depending on which pass you purchased). You can visit each of your selected attractions 1 time. Every person (ages 3 and up) in your group must have a San Francisco Explorer Pass to take advantage of the free admissions. Attraction admissions follow the open operating hours of the attraction. Does my pass expire?
Your first attraction visit must occur within one (1) year following the calendar year in which your card is purchased. Your first visit activates your card. For example: cards purchased in 2007 will expire on December 31, 2008. Once your card is activated, you have 30 days to use your Explorer Pass.
How do I know which attractions to visit?
Each order receives a San Francisco Explorer Pass guide. This guide is
your resource for creating your own tailor-made experience and includes attraction
descriptions, hours of operation, directions, maps and much more!
How do I get a value out of a San Francisco Explorer Pass?
We recognize when traveling that value, choice, and flexibility are important.
You’ll be able to maximize your value and fun by reviewing the included
attractions, from which you choose your favorite 3 or 5,
on the website or in your guidebook. And, you’ll have 30 days to visit

After I purchase online, how do I get my passes?
We’ll ship your Explorer Passes to you, the next business day (Monday through
Friday) from our Boston, MA operations center so you can better plan
your trip and maximize your fun and value. Economical shipping options are listed
as you purchase.
Do you offer group rates?
We offer special rates for groups of 20 or more. Please contact
us for details.
Are there Explorer Passes for other cities?
Yes! We offer Explorer Passes in New York, Las Vegas, Boston, Chicago, San
Francisco, California Wine Country, Orlando, Miami and Hollywood with
