What is an Explorer Pass?
A Wine Country Explorer Pass is a multi-attraction pass providing you with access
to Wine Country’s top wineries, tastings and museums. You get to create
your own experience, tailoring your activities based on what you like to do.
What’s the catch? How can you offer all this at such
an affordable price?
There is no catch! Because we bring a very large number of visitors to each
of our attraction partners, we are able to get great pricing on each admission,
allowing us to pass the savings on to you when using an Explorer Pass.
How does the Wine Country Explorer Pass work?
All you have to do is present your Wine Country Explorer Pass at a participating
attraction and your admission is included. The pass is activated the
first time you use it and you can visit as many attractions as you like for
2 consecutive calendar days.
If I’m traveling with a friend, can we use the same card?
No, the Wine Country Explorer Pass is only valid for one person. If you would
like to share your Wine Country Experience with a friend, you will each need
to have your own Wine Country Explorer Pass.
Do kids need to have a Wine Country Explorer Pass?
Wine Country Explorer Passes are not available for children. You must be 21
years of age or older to purchase the card.
How many attractions can I visit in one day?
You may visit as many attractions as you like in one day, but you are limited
to visiting each attraction only once per day.
Is it a ride or a guided tour?
No, the Wine Country Explorer Pass is more like a ticket to be used to go to
wine tastings and to visit Napa & Sonoma Valley museums by paying one low
price.
Does my pass expire?
Your first attraction visit must occur within one (1) year following the calendar
year in which your card is purchased. For example: cards purchased in 2007
will expire on December 31, 2008.
How do I know which attractions to visit?
Each order receives a Wine Country Explorer Pass Guide. This guide is your
resource for creating your own tailor-made experience and includes
attraction descriptions, hours of operation, directions and much more!
How do I get a value out of a Wine Country Explorer Pass?
We recognize when traveling that value, choice, and flexibility are important.
You’ll be able to maximize your value and fun by reviewing the included

After I purchase online, how do I get my passes?
There are two options:
- We’ll ship your Explorer Passes and to you, the next business day (Monday through Friday) from our Boston, MA operations center. We recommend having your order shipped, so you can better plan your trip and maximize your fun and value. Economical shipping options are listed as you purchase.
- If you choose to pick up your pass in Wine Country, remember to print out your voucher and bring it with you to our local redemption center.
Do you offer group rates?
We offer special rates for groups of 20 or more. Please contact
us for details.
Are there Explorer Passes for other cities?
Yes! We offer Explorer Passes in New York, Las Vegas, Boston, Chicago, San
Francisco, California Wine Country, Orlando, Miami and Hollywood with
MORE to come.
